Forging hydraulic presses are primarily used for various open-die forging processes—such as drawing out, upsetting, finishing, punching, and cutting—utilizing upper and lower anvils along with simple, general-purpose tools; they can also perform closed-die forging operations. These presses feature direct oil-pump drive systems using hydraulic oil as the working medium and are available in configurations such as four-column up-acting, two-column down-acting, and four-column down-acting designs, equipped with either a movable worktable or a lateral anvil-shifting mechanism.
